it is a fascinating 'conversation' - traversing through the comments:

Thanks for sharing your interesting opinions Tom. Fancy you seeking to associate racial prejudice with our campaign to replace the Windsors with an elected head of state – and indeed reducing our initiatives so that they are on a par with despising the poor. I trust that you don’t dislike republicans for just being republicans? That would be the same as us simply disliking the Windsors without offering any evidence or without outlining an alternative system – which if you read our site is absolutely not the case.
I am amazed to learn that our PM is elected.
“What you people do not realise is that the monarchy in this country is a symbol of our history and our heritage, they are a link to our past that we should never lose, for it is from the past that we have arrived here as we are today.”
You are absolutely right. I had no idea that racism, colonialism, slavery, militarism, oppression, greed, social division, sexual deviancy, adultery, unlawful killing, religious purges, the appalling treatment of women, insanity and now the whiff of curruption and arms sales, could be symbolised so succinctly simply by referring the monarchy. Thank you.
Could you list some of the benefits of monarchy so that we can measure them against the vast cost?
