However, according to close friend and student Manuel Rosenthal, he asked violinist Hélène Jourdan-Mourhange to marry him, although she dismissed him, saying "No, Maurice, I'm extremely fond of you, as you know, but only as a friend, and I couldn't possibly consider marrying you". [95] He is quoted as saying "The only love affair I have ever had was with music"

...and this bit is particularly sickening...well 'sad' really....

remember how my sister HELEN had wanted to 'buy gill' as a teenager and been told that he was not  for sale?

well she had had a massive crush on him and for all of her life....far more so than upon weale....that gay autistic biker played 'second fiddle' to gill....

so to avenge helen upon gill...he was put through the indignity...MI6 has the tapes....of having to pretend to be rejected by her....so that mike would feel better about not being 'top dog'....so in short, helen was instructed to say the above to gill...in the road, outside of that house....the royals had a look at the garden...one of them said 'do you think that we've got time to move a granite tomb in there?'....the rest of them then checked out 'granite tombs' in the vicinity to see if they had time...

back at the cia lab - the rest of us were in disbelief...gill had done what they said without a murmur....most of us would have rebelled at some point....but as he was to say...it would have been a lot worse if he had 'talked back'...better to lay low and 'get them for it' later on....
