Upon a BAISSAC search...I can remember now...the ALLO ALLO TEAM took me to this award ceremony and CAROLINE told me that this was rather like watching the new-look SOE...collect their awards...that is how it was...so many people and from so many nationalities/cultures...

OLIVER BAISSAC was pointed out to me...and just how much he looked like MARTIN GILL as a teenager...and then I realised...GILL had wanted to be there to see his son...his 'cuckoo'...how tragic it all is - but how wonderful, in a way.
