So my father's friends had decided to 'vanity publish' as they call 'self-publish' my grandfather's book because 'his old friends' in publishing wouldn't publish it...whether it was any good or not...isn't the point...they would have realised that the main point of it was CODING against them...'CONTEMPTIBLE' is a strong word for a book title...even today...in relation to WWII.

...and a comment left below upon the ARNOLD GYDE results page...talks about SELF-PUBLISHING...and as far as I can see...if you publish your book (and who is to stop you?)...the technology is such today...that you do not need to expend an arm or a leg getting copies printed and distributed (most book stores don't take self-published books anyway - paid not to do so by main publishers)...you can publish it immediately, to a wider audience upon KINDLE and for free:
