I noticed in GILL's cage...a large 'supersonic' space gun in blue plastic, the other day...it had been there all along but I have only just got the memory back about it. In brief, as toddlers - i had gone off with GILL to play a game in the park...the programmers were fascinated...we didn't want to 'please' them as most kids did...we went off on our own to play games...so I said to GILL - here is an invisible box...you can take out of it anything you want...and he immediately took out of the box - all of the toys that he wanted bought for him...and then suddenly WAAAAH! but it's not real, time...

Yes, it is - I responded...i will make TODDY buy them all for you - so I did.

TODDY then went up to RIMINGTON - asked for some money - she took out a roll of notes from her handbag - where she had got them I have no idea....so much money. TODDY then took GILL off to central LONDON and was it HAMLYN's...he could hardly carry the large toys out...in fact, GILL had also got him to buy a 'pedal car' too...which GILL then 'drove' out of the shop because TODDY couldn't carry it and neither could he...to a taxi...whereupon they went back to GILL's home in the East End.

His father greeted them with 'but we are jooish orthodox and we don't allow those sort of toys. TODDY told him to keep them secret but to let MARTIN play with them. The 'supersonic space gun' worried his family quite a bit...particularly MARTIN's mother as he 'shot her' down the corridor "TAKE IT AWAY FROM HIM" time...

SCARLETT then turned up - to see the toys...and little MARTIN almost inevitably, took aim and shot him too...prophetic, perhaps?

Years later...once the family had moved to SOLIHULL...that supersonic space gun was still impressing the little boys...specifically the BROOKS brothers and other friends from his class at school...what a design...so what was it about that gun that was so impressive? I will have to take a photo of it for analysis...
