a bit of a 'military fairy' ring, huh?....anyway, i've got a little bit more to add....and it is all about nationalism....franco had had to make a run for it, after encountering etc etc....and yes, he'd made a tour of etc etc....never seen such beautiful countryside, seaside towns....anyway, reminding me somewhat of nicholas campestre in poland....a frenchman talking german....accosted and then chased on a main street by an NF job, with an iron bar...hid in a mcdonald's branch - at closing time - tried to defend himself with one of the upturned chairs upon the tables...ended up with a head wound...courtcase ensued etc etc...nearly all of the polish people involved in the case, condemned what had happened, outright...enormous support for nicholas etc etc....and yes, it had made the local newspapers....go figure:
