on a more positive note...I was to receive that new bathroom 'light' from amazon, today....and it works perfectly...cheap at the price - see previous notes:

 

oh and I was to remember cathy's brother 'so many years ago' now...he was admiring her 'arts and crafts' skills...i.e. what she could make with her sewing machine in her 'textiles room'....and was to ask her what he should study at college...because he wanted to learn something 'useful' rather than impractical (i.e. academic subjects for example)....she looked up, bored...and then replied that their parents' mansion...well it all needed rewiring, didn't it?...and so that is what he then went on to do...to become an expert electrician....and eventually recruited a team to 'do the whole place up'....
