now this is where things get really weird....
the cartoon character....that DAVID TENNANT was to supply the voice to....looked like a 'black/yellow bumble bee'.....
i had viewed the BBC webpage....and the article had talked about the 'voice pitch' being part of a new program to help children with a certain type of learning disability....
needless to say - that article has now disappeared off the BEEB site altogether....
and what has replaced it?
on a 'david tennant cartoon' search?
this article and video with 'dr who' looking very white-faced and stressed out...talking in his normal accent i.e. a scottish accent.....
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/20328801
and talking about how he was made to do a 'droid' for star wars....
"The actor recently provided the voice of a droid in the animated cartoon series
Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
so what was going on there, then?
i had distrusted the 'black/yellow bumble bee' cartoon image - immediately....something wasn't right but i hadn't commented upon it at the time....suffice to say it had reminded me of THE SIMPSONS and that spanish 'bee'.....
and therefore i had wondered if that cartoon and the 'soundtrack' would have really helped those children with learning disabilities or not?
i have no idea....
all i know is that i cannot find the article talking about the above children's cartoon series, anymore.
