i spent some time scanning this photo....trying to remember something but what? suddenly it then came back...toby macklin could remember those two chairs in the background....gok and mark r had put them there....
'mr seating'....how was that spelt again?
you see - i can remember now...there were 'extra seats' left out at my parents' wedding anniversary....no doubt to represent 'absent programmers' - who had walked everybody through that ill cult rehearsal, years before the actual event - see previous notes....
oh i remember now...it was GOK and MARK R who had put them there, during the rehearsal...telling me that if i were to say a word to my father...that they would be listening to everything...and so that is why the 'friend' of GOK - that waiter...had put them out again....nobody was supposed to use them...
and something else is now coming back:
who was MR Seating?
is that the correct spelling of the surname?
something is coming back here...was it the mafia boss from QUILON who had presiding over that rehearsal?
i know that his real surname was linked to 'seating' for some reason....keating, seating....seton.....who knows? Perhaps i need to look at a translation from english to french/spanish?
anyway, the fact that my sister helen had to sit at 'another table' and not a 'family table'....instead of telling everybody to budge up and take a seat at the GYDE family table - with one of those 'extra chairs'...
well, as i have already stated - there were two 'family tables' - one for the GYDES and one for the MARSHALLS (my mother's family)....helen wasn't allowed a place at either table...although she could have used one of those 'extra chairs' and asked us all to budge up - she didn't....
ED's wife and child, as well as sue's mother GLORIA - had 'pride of place' on the main, central GYDE table....along with HUMPHREY's wife and child.....cielo and little beatrice....the weales were not in attendance and neither were jeremy clayton and his wife...
OTHER NOTES:
"only the masons would have done that" replies BI ONLINE as if it was morally 'dubious' to do so...
well they were RIGHT to do that to helen, weren't they?
to spell things out- plainly...even if it was only upon a 'show and not tell' basis.
