It is funny but whilst in the POST OFFICE yesterday, I had to sign and print my name upon a stamped card to prove that I had picked up that NPOWER package.

I filled in the date wrongly as 5/01/12 and the assistant corrected it laughing 'you're too eager'...

So i am surprised that I made the same mistake again - upon that NPOWER email that I sent yesterday - something is 'up' here and it will relate to what CAROLINE and myself had planned in terms of acting this year rather than waiting for 2012.

Anyway, here is the 'new improved email' to ELIZABETH GIBSON:

RE: recorded delivery/signed for package received 5/01/2011

I can see that the ‘revised bills’ haven’t been quite thought through as well as they might have been.

For example, I wasn’t resident in my flat for the period of time 15/07/10 to 03/08/10 and nobody else has the keys to this flat or has used this flat, apart from myself.

That is why I find it a little hard to understand why I have been charged £35.05 for what appears to be just over two weeks’ worth of electricity, during the above SUMMER period, when no electricity was used at all. I switched off everything. I might have left a light on - but that is all - and really, that much for one light bulb?

Please send me another set of revised bills for ELECTRICITY because I figure that there has been another ‘computational error’ upon your system.

To NPOWER’s credit I must say that the GAS bill now looks more appropriate for the amount used in relation to the time period stated but it still isn’t on the cheapest tariff - is it?

The statement says ‘standard gas’ tariff and that wasn’t part of the agreement was it?

I await your response.

Kind regards,

Emily Gyde

PS Maybe 'Brett' or 'Dave' can explain the terms: 'set up' and 'deadlock letter'? I would be interested to know.
