.....and what's new this monday evening, dazzlenation?....a couple of new emails from CHP regarding that stuck stopcock...this is almost unbelievable...you would have thought that they might prioritise it but no - anyway, luckily the danger is now over for the time being - although the boiler is still at fault and so i am currently waiting for aaron services ltd to reply, regarding the fitting of the new boiler etc etc.....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....oh and even weirder....they all tell you, at aaron services ltd....including 'tom'..."we are not allowed to touch that (the stopcock)"....and yes, he had said 'just that'....before i showed it to him along with that 'jack of all trades' WD-40 rust remover....and then he had no problem at all in turning it 'on' in order to temporarily fix the boiler....however, as i have found out...you can turn it on 'full' (which is what he had done) i.e. anti-clockwise but you still cannot turn it 'off' i.e. clockwise...anyway, what's going on at CHP?...presumably they are under-staffed....more to the point - seeing as aaron services ltd are contracted in to do everything regarding the boiler/central heating etc etc as well as electrical jobs....why on earth are they not allowed to repair a stopcock?...they are not even supposed to touch it and i think that is the 'rub' - isn't it?.....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....go figure:
