.....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, this relates to a movie available upon netflix entitled 'i'm thinking of ending things'....a film that whilst 'in the making', let us say....had remained unfinished because the producers couldn't think of a suitable ending.....i can remember police detectives watching what they had got down so far....along with a hotchpotch of 'dancing' tagged on at the end....the police were amused....and i suppose that might have been because the film starts off as a rather dreary little 'indie' number e.g. attempts to fill the viewer with existential 'determinist' dread - despite being slightly surreal....and then suddenly flips genre towards the end....in a remarkable way....lol...the cartoon pig had been thrown in by an MI6 team....reminded me of that UFO number in 'the life of brian'....others had thought it was a bit too much and yet, for myself - it somehow seemed entirely 'right'...transcending the comical biblical narrative, perfectly etc etc...hmmm....transcendence, that's what it is all about...the film 'i'm thinking of ending things' is 'dying' on its feet, at the beginning....like a meteorite falling into a dumpster....but by the end, it is rather like a comet blazing a trail out of that skip etc etc...go figure:

hmmm...further thoughts....a bit 'fishwick' - as those behind the production, had realised...a bit that CH4 series 'flowers'?...anyway, the movie begins with a shot of a certain 'william morris' design - that oscar had once had as 'curtains and cushions' in his computer study room.
and what else, dazzlenation?.....netflix has just sent me an email telling me that i should 'like' the following.....hmmm.....'smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside'?.....well, that just about sums up the general tone, at the beginning of 'i'm thinking of ending things' and of so many other US movies upon netfix...and my life - i am so bored of that tone etc etc...it is a bit like a generic 'whine'...rather like that 'cracking/breaking' voice number, that so many young actresses imitate - having been programmed with 'cocaine toad' etc etc....until 'something happens', within the movie and like a driver suddenly thinking...."f**k this for a game of soldiers"....suddenly swerves off course....a change of gears...and voila!.....you have a hit.....something to write home about etc etc....lol....go figure:
oh and the 'oklahoma!' musical reference was an interesting number.....remember BI and that rather strange 'rothschild' production at the lyceum, in place of the usual - let us say....additionally, my friend and i - were to meet marr upon waterloo bridge, afterwards - whilst watching the projection upon the south bank etc etc.....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....anyway, 'cool cat' is also upon the timer system:
and what else, dazzlenation?..well, the icecream number, in the film....reminds me of toddy's NSA mate....who had had a moment of transcendence, let us say.....regarding his realisation that he had lost his soul...in relation to a cetain icecream that was "too sweet" let us say - to then regain it....and so, yes - if anybody was channelling anybody...well, they were having a look at what had changed his life...his 'eureka!' moment etc etc....go figure.
