"The company Materialytics has stated that it can trace the origin of virtually any diamond"

and how would they do that? wiki doesn't have an entry for the above company....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_diamond

let me see...oh ha ha ha...that's rather grim but funny too...reminds me of Sabina sharkey's obsessionalism with the 'materialist' approach, in british cultural studies....defined by the car you drive, the labels upon the clothes that you wear...reflected in so much 'literature' nowadays....

analyse your world....what? with a bit of piping? doesn't look hi-tech, does it?

let me see...I was looking at something 'optical' in a display case in front of one of the tills, in boots this morning...whilst a lady who appeared to be from 'from the middle-east' was being served....she then went to put her card into the machine and so to ensure that she didn't think that I was standing to close, in order to have a look at her pin-number...I chucked that 'optical' pack back into the display and stood back....whilst thinking...why had that particular item caught my attention...there is nothing wrong with my eyes...I'm just 'nosey' about everything that grabs my attention...and that small box, had done...go figure....

anyway, she was treating herself to all sorts of things - upon her boots points card as it turned out (including elnett hairspray - see previous notes upon 'that one')....and so when it came to my turn...to buy pantypads and aspirin...I was to ask how much I had on my card....£4....oh good....and so I used my points card too....'knowing' as I did so...that the ill had set something up today...and it was probably wise not to actually 'buy in cash' today...don't ask me why...I just 'knew'....a points card means that you do not actually spend money....oh and the whole 'pantypads' number...this is something around the ill having bet that I wouldn't find the cheapest....hidden away by...well boots more expensive brands (see previous notes upon PKW/webb as 'always and forever man')....this is all getting very silly I know...and I am not sure what I am 'trawling' for as yet....but there is a larger metaphor at work here...I am almost sure of it...a transaction upon a card...the points were saved up....which means that you don't have to spend money in order to purchase....
