OTHER NOTES:

what else was to come up today? well it was all about Richard harris' house in Blackheath, 60s....little colin had a pet white rat....he was to take it out and show it to us, in a bedroom at the top of the house - overlooking the garden....toddy had told me about it, beforehand...along the lines of "hold it tight - it's used to him but not you...you don't want to spend hours trying to catch it if it escapes"...and so after I had held it for a while...it began to get agitated...I supposed that it wanted to go back to little colin (who had left me holding it - he wouldn't take it back at first)...anyway, so I then held it a bit tighter and it squealed...."you're holding it too tight!" said little colin...he then let me give it back to him...and he put it back in its cage....somebody then called him, from downstairs and off he went....

gill was also present...."there's dark magic afoot here" he said (gill had some quaint old terms, as a child)....he then told me that we had to let the rat escape....he opened the cage...let it out...we then opened a window...it disappeared down the guttering....

later on we were to find out that Amadeus had been behind that microchipped rat....and that he had then programmed little colin with the 'guttering' and the 'guttersnipe'...his mother was present at the time...she was the one who had originally called martin a 'guttersnipe'...go figure...oh and Amadeus had told his mother "we'll keep an eye on him" after giving her that pet white rat...go figure.
