VIS-A-VIS came up this morning...i can remember VIZ in its early stages...they hadn't got a name for it at that point in time...the 'crew' involved laughed about 'grand vizier' and 'vis-a-vis'...dabydeen was to research 'my interpretation' of it...in short, the three sisters had used it to mean 'via'....as in 'we can do this via whatever'....they didn't use it to mean 'face to face' or 'tete-a-tete' - they used it with a sense of 'travel' and 'motion'.....however some idiots figured that they knew better and told me that i was completely wrong....

Anyway, dabydeen was to research the lot...and to find out an historical reference....

which the bobby/weale mob were to use...in relation to FLASHCUBES of all things...you see that 'stick' - it is probably a gearstick of sorts i suppose but helen was to say that it looked like an oldfashioned flashcube...so 'pairs' of ill cult slaves were made to sit in the seats - opposite to each other...yes the 'shutdown dna mob' were trying to take control of VIZ....and 'vis-a-vis' - finding the way....not that this was a possibility...and i look forward to the new frontcover of viz...featuring the 'shutdown dna mob'....

yes it was difficult dealing with 'idiots at BI' at that point in time but luckily there were also those like DABYDEEN around...

of course the three sisters...born in the late 19th century...would have used something like the above 1902 version....and they wouldn't have thought of it as 'face to face' so much as 'we can use that vehicle to get from A-Z and get whatever it is done'...in short, their preferred meaning for VIS-A-VIS was all about travel and getting things done by using that form of transport...
