and now i realise that i wasn't with gill - whilst looking at that 'helicopter charity garden'....well 'in a way' but not in another....let me explain....

having found this clip from TAXI DRIVER....remembered that i had first seen it 'with gill' at solihull cinema upon the high street....gill had become fascinated by the movie....and one can see why...he looked rather similar...an identification there, perhaps? more than an identification probably and fostered by toddy....

secondly within this scene...scorsese looks demonic...watch it frame by frame...he concentrates hard and then begins to run the 'taxi driver' as he might drive a car....you then get the HEADLIGHTS in the mirror....compare those 'headlights' to 'the eyes of a cat' on LOLCATS....used to signify 'nobody at home'...and being 'run from behind'....
