What does the star have to say about his purchase? Well, Tramlines would bet very good money that the world number three barely saw the press release apparently giving his reaction to the sale. But just in case he did, here are the bland quotes contained therein:



"I am pleased to have acquired Cromlix House and look forward to securing its future as a successful business.



"By re-establishing Cromlix as a leading luxury hotel at the heart of the Dunblane community, we will be able to attract new visitors to the area, create a number of new jobs and focus on supporting other local businesses.



"I'm pleased to be able to give something back to the community I grew up in."



But while Murray's made-up quotes might not be that exciting, the plans for the place itself do sound nice: the hotel is apparently set in 50 acres of Scottish woodland and has its own trout lake.



It also has a list of public rooms which would make a Cluedo board green with envy: a chapel, reception hall, two drawing rooms, conservatory, dining room, library, meeting rooms, and a restaurant run which is to be overseen by legendary chef Albert Roux.
