The Adam Bell Foundation is a charity set up to raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes. The Charity was set up after Adam Bell, 34, was misdiagnosed with a virus and tragically died alone the following day.

I can remember Pascal's younger brother michel having a diabetic seizure as a child - whilst staying for the summer with his friend...at 14 st bernards...my father was to explain that he hadn't taken his insulin injection and that sometimes diabetics didn't because they had had enough of all of it - a sort of 'suicidal response' to the responsibility...anyway, the young boy was to start shouting and lashing out at his friend and my parents....until dad had managed to inject him with the insulin - and he had had something to eat and drink - he hadn't eaten enough that day...I didn't actually see what my parents were to do, in the living room because they told all of the children to get out and leave them alone - my mother then charged into the kitchen to get milk and juice....anyway, after that michel calmed down...
...and the video below appears to illustrate 'something like that'...because I can remember my father saying "they don't know where they are, at the time...or remember what has just happened afterwards" or something like that...when they come to...

anyway, quite a few mixed opinions after the above video....and having skimmed quickly through them...a bone of contention around psychological factors and physical symptoms....well I suppose that is what the above had been all about...anger at having the condition...rebelling against the responsibility....and too young to shoulder it, 100%...my father was to say that diabetics could decide not to take their insulin injection at any age....because they'd just 'had enough'....of the whole thing...
