....and what's new this saturday evening, dazzlenation?....well, it's all about cuckoo clocks firstly - and in relation to a 'cuckoo' line that i had had to shut down after gill 'n' bowie had hacked in from green tower, to breeze through 'crappy' - whilst we were in myanamar, let us say....so many years ago now....in short, 'crappy' had told me that he should have been with somebody like deb mcd....in relation to his good looks....guess who had been breezing through 'crappy' then, eh?....anyway, stung by such an unexpected insulting remark - i retorted that i was the brains of the operation and not the beauty queen - that would be his department....and were female military operatives normally treated to that sort of verbal abuse etc etc....whilst realising that it was very unlike him, to say anything like that...he then asked if i could find and close down that line...."i'm already doing it" etc etc...and then we have an actual cuckoo clock story....regarding whalley 'n' stenson....i had previously told her about grandma clayton - who having been given one as a present....was very relieved when it ran down.....grandpa clayton then went and wound it up again - in the parlour, without realising..."oh, bob - what have you done? I can't stand it!" etc etc....and so i recommended that sue put her cuckoo clock in the conservatory with her plants....and at a certain hour, she asked ben to go and have a look at the plants...he returned to say that there was a bird in there....she asked him to look for it....he returned, to say that he couldn't find anything but that "there's an old clock in there"....to the reply "what type of clock" etc etc....lol....oh and just one more story - the wyss had once given oscar one of those traditional wooden/brown cuckoo clocks...and the young RH immediately grabbed the bird and broke it off of its spring - very destructive, at that age...."we'll have to send it back" oscar was to tell the wyss....and so she had been the courier for somebody else?...where had it come from? etc etc...anyway, amazon thinks that i should purchase the following.....go figure:
