...anyway, I've now resolved that one...after quite a bit of 'faffing around' let us say...a code was sent to my minniecricket address...I typed it in...and now I can access my emily_gyde account again.

oh and there's more...an email from CHP...appeared to be of a rather suspicious nature (despite having been sent from their email address)....because having clicked upon it...there was no 'body' to the email at all....and 'no recipients' at the top....anyway, I then deleted it and 'no more problems' hopefully...go figure:
