oh and I  forgot to add to my previous notes...the following...it had been rimington who had put the headphones onto the wrong child....and yes, of course there had been tiny headphones under the 'bibi the sheep' hat....I can remember little gill opening his eyes wide as he listened to the transmission...he was looking at me...trying to communicate something....and so I just sat there and watched him...until toddy and another man came in...toddy was to say that it couldn't be helped....rimington then came in and giggled....they then took the headphones and hat off little gill...and put them on my head...saying that it probably wouldn't work...i.e. the transmission time was already almost up...but it might etc etc....
