...let me see...the oddest thing happened yesterday....somebody was 'moving into belle court'...a removals lorry was outside...an armchair beside it...the back was open....and as I entered the building to begin walking up the stairs....well the men in front were carrying the tallest bookcase imaginable....and I thought 'well there are two possibilities'.....either the flats on the top floor have much higher ceilings than this flat....or somebody hasn't measured up before moving in.....

I then thought 'what if the ceilings are the same in all of these flats?'...the only way that they'll get that inside one of these flats - is sideways...and what use would it be then? it looked like one of those BBC bookshelves...modern, wooden, functional...you know the ones on iplayer - where people are 'up ladders' to get to the books....

anyway, having had a look at the CF RIDEAU centre photos....I was struck by the sudden thought...in relation to belle court top floor having 'skyline windows' down the communal corridor....perhaps CHP and the local council has struck a deal, somewhere along the line...and their plan is to change this building into a shopping mall/centre? I then thought about ingabot....oh and ed too, come to think of it....who had both earned their 'ill cult right to....' in shopping malls/centres...
