...and this video 'kind of' reminds me of yesterday's Christmas swim, in a funny sort of way....
I can remember the crocus circle 'every spring'...caroline was to tell me that I mustn't pick them..."okay then but only a few - whilst they aren't looking..." she then picked a couple, herself...it was all symbolic you see....programmers had programmed themselves in as 'CROCUSES'...as well as DAFFODILS in that area....one of the 'year above us' was to come over and tell us as much..."the daffodils are much worse" she said pointing to a clump of them behind...you see those like INGA had programmed themselves in as such...around that oak....

Watch as an enormous oak, decayed by honey fungus, is felled by tree surgeons at Dartington. Listen out for the backdrop of local schoolchildren singing Christmas carols - the coincidental result of a festive service finishing in the nearby Great Hall.
Honey fungus is an affliction that attacks the roots of woody and perennial plants, and had led the tree to be unsafe for visitors. The sound of the falling tree, famous for the 'crocus circle' it resided within, reached the edges of Dartington's 880-acre estate. More information about the tree and its affliction can be read here: http://www.dartington.org/news/oak-tr....
