barrier protection...these photos are quite extraordinary...reminds me of what my brother ed had to go through as a child...locked inside a 'perspex box' in the middle of an empty children's ward...because it was suspected that he had a dangerous but unknown infection...months later, he was released from that b'ham hospital ward...apparently the doctors had been wrong...he hadn't been sick at all...well, he certainly didn't look it, at the time...when I was to visit him, with my mother...see previous notes....
