in short, couples were programmed as the 'left hand' and the 'right hand'...gill and I used to be a 'pair-of-hands' until mark r told him that he would have to give me to CF, to 'take care of' whilst I was in china....and the upshot of it all?...CF was to tell mark r "I can use my left hand, too"...and so could I (i.e. use my right hand), which is just as well...considering how things were to turn out....go figure.
