anyway, in my day...as in the late 60s...hanni's bottles used to have a plastic gold tops - shaped like a 'bell' over the metal screw-on cap, I suppose or did the plastic tops screw on directly? I cannot remember...anyway, the bottles had a red/black label....she used to collect those 'golden bell tops' to then make Christmas decorations for her tree....

anyway, I can remember miss jone's half-bottle...it was a cheap variety of bell's...it had a red metal screw-on top with BELL'S printed upon it....

 

the mystery here...as I was to explain to MI5 toby, quite a few years back now...was that the half-bottle without a label - used for programming in 'magical timetravel potion'...was like this Jameson's whiskey bottle - with a red BELL's cap on top of it but no label...go figure:
