anyway, this morning I was to decide to start at the top of belle court....and to photograph the top floor which contains flats numbered 9, 10, 11, 12...

there are 12 flats in belle court.

nota bene there is no firedoor - no escape...along this corridor or any other for that matter...

anyway, the format/layout is the same for all three floors i.e. flats 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, 6, 7, 8...

....one long corridor....two flats to the left, one to the right...and one directly in front of you, at the end of the corridor...

the photo below is of flat 11 corridor...flat 11 is directly in front of you...

and yes, I can see a bit of 'wear and tear' on that door...ha ha ha...but I would guess that it is no laughing matter - see previous notes...chris has now moved out of flat 9...

anyway, we are at the top of the building...and there is a skyline...hardly an escape route 'in case of fire' but there you go...nota bene that the windows have wooden slates outside...preventing anybody from falling out of the windows...or climbing out, I might add...

next up...we have flat 7 of the second floor - directly in front of us...same format/layout etc....

and finally we have my own corridor....the first floor...and flat 3 directly in front of us...
