I have no idea why...but using my 'sixth sense'...I am picking up a connection between...the ill cult using that 'pond'...in relation to 'alien programming'...and the following 'eerie music' reference...as they led their victims to that 'ducking pond'...go figure....that 'dog with dead pups'...a reminder of 'something terrible'.....
bobby and Michael clayton knew all about 'stan' who lived down the road from hillhouse combs....grandpa clayton used to 'employ' him now and then as an odd job man...and one of his jobs was to drown sacks of unwanted kittens/puppies...go figure...
you see I can remember, as a child...being traumatised out of my mind...after the grandparents had asked stan round...he was to bring with him a sack full of kittens...I was shown the kittens...and then told that stan was off to drown them all...it was horrible...calculatedly so....you see it wasn't as if they were newborns i.e. hardly recognisable as cats...they were nearly fullgrown...
