okay, so you aren't saying anything until the second part...in which you say that politicising religion is a bad thing...but you don't want to say anything more than that....in fact, what you are saying...is quite the reverse 'reading between the lines'....as that warwick centre crew.....tanks into the political arena...along the lines of "we've been sent in to talk about religion...normally we treat it as a 'dirty word in the closet' but not anymore...we're all going to get political about it....
I suppose that this is all around the big question about 'islam-in-the-west' at the moment - isn't it?
what else? well academe...no longer interests me and hasn't done, for a long time...and so I decided to do an 'interpretative dance' whilst seated at my laptop...in relation to what that warwick centre are really up to...along the lines of pointing in different directions, at the same time....and at different angles...in relation to east/west, and then north/south....."we're going this way!"...a bit like Tomlinson saying "when I point my finger in this direction...the rest of my fingers (curled into his fist) are pointing the other way..."
let me see...as children - when shown a compass...children tend to get confused as to where 'north' is...until shown how to use it...go figure...
anyway, i was then to return to the internet...find that kimono...and wonder...what had gill done...in relation to that VILLAGE PEOPLE song 'in the navy'...because I can remember now...back in Solihull and at that disused hall...gill had said "I could do something with that"...go figure....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wc-AQJ2MYo&feature=player_detailpage
so they're singing GO WEST!...whilst pointing around all over the place...now, that is what I had been remembering...and there is more...at one point...they do a sort of rollover motion with their hands in front of them...and then bend over backwards....'watch your back'? time...."who's behind you?"....
oh and given a choice...I just know which costume, gill would choose...it's a bit 'cleopatra' isn't it?
what else?....in order to find out where EAST is....look at the brightest star in the sky.... as it rises to the right...according to that boy's own book - oh and I can remember gill saying "that gives me the greatest confidence" - with such sarcasm....after I had relayed on that one - whilst he was trying to escape another ill cult event - cross-country...I remember now....what can I say?...but that it worked, didn't it?
this morning...I began my 'seated interpretive dance' with a thumbs up to the east and west...which are ironically, in front and behind, of where I am seated, this morning...my laptop is pointing due east....I then did a 'point the finger' to the north and south....
