OTHER NOTES:

this morning, I was to have a look at M&S plants....yes it is too early too be thinking about Christmas presents, I figured....but on the other hand, I thought...a 3 for 2 offer and some of the loveliest designs...plus my mother loves irises....and hyacinths....an early Christmas present then?

I was then to remember rimington painting the 'flowers' design (before it was transferred to those bowls)....and from memory - in relation to some cups that my mother had once owned....and I can remember saying that her 'design from memory' didn't look anything like 'the real thing'...which is just as well - or she might have been accused of plagiarism...or the equivalent, in the art and design world....anyway, the design is still rather lovely, in its way....

having remembered the above...I then looked at the 'feathers' designs....also rather lovely...but what did they remind me of?...the colour...that delicate duck egg/blue/green....."prague Rothschild colour" replies MI5 ONLINE.... and my mother's favourite 'potter'.....she used to buy Edmund de waal's pots...before he became famous and the pots then became 'too expensive' to buy....

let me see...upon an Edmund de waal google images search...well it is almost like a 'library of pots'....isn't it?...libraries is something of a theme today, isn't it? "data libraries".....
