...and what's new this Friday evening, then?....let's continue with the 'basin saga'....by cutting to the quick....the basin in my flat's bathroom is a 'showcase' one....and yes, I can remember now - an employee of homebase (which used to have a Clacton branch, so many years ago - now)...had told me that because their sinks/basins/baths were not linked to a water supply or a drainage system....and because members of the public used to use those sinks/basins/baths...to tip coffee/tea/coca cola etc etc down....and because the staff didn't like to clear up 'nasty messes' upon the showroom floor...one shopper had used a basin as a urinal....the staff, not knowing what that particular liquid was on the floor.....were to decide to block the plugholes....from underneath...with white plastic cups....they didn't want to hide the plugholes....because the customer needs a clear view of what they are buying, don't they? etc etc....buller's mob used to do 'clingfilm' torture in homebase, at that point in time (they used to wrap a victim's head in clingfilm, to asphyxiate them)....and that is when they were to learn of the problem with the showcase items being used by the general public, to pour liquids down etc etc...later on, a homebase employee was to tell me that it was easier to clear up the mess if it was contained in a basin "you just take it out the back" - rather then mopping up the floor...and of course there are 'health and safety' issues regarding slippery floors, aren't there?....go figure:

and there's more to this sorry saga....in short, CHP are liable for the whole thing...but lee jackson, that 'pretend plumber' (wearing 'scarlett's hair', let us say) is most to blame....because he had known what 'old ken (also wearing scarlett's hair) had had fitted, in that bathroom...a showcase model from homebase in clacton....lee had then told me to use 'mr muscle extra strength' in the hope of causing bodily harm....seeing as the plughole was supposed to be entirely blocked...i would then breath in the gas (something that buller used to torture MI5 members, with) which could have resulted....in a number of things....damage to my lungs...i might have passed out and hit my head etc etc...go figure.

oh and a CHP plumber - the one who had come to repair the toilet flush...was to use a rod down that bathroom basin...to then realise that there was a white plastic cup, stuck underneath the drain (he was to have a look down it with a torch but he didn't tell me what he had actually seen)...he then told me that he couldn't unblock it....and that I certainly wouldn't be able to do so...he then scratched his head and told me that he would have to replace the whole basin...he then made a reference to 'them' as in old ken/buller's mob etc etc....telling me, in so many words - that he knew what they were all about (everything in this flat has a 'symbolic' meaning for the masons)....and that he would leave the whole thing until he had found out more....regarding 'why' they had done it....you see, he hadn't quite cottoned on to the fact that it was a showcase model, at that point in time...and so he was simply puzzled by the whole thing.

....and so I will now have to send an email to CHP...stressing how 'at risk' I have been....because of the wrong advice, given by lee Jackson....and basically telling them that their plumber had already told me that the bathroom basin wasn't something that I had blocked and that I would not be able to unblock it....therefore if they were to go ahead and continue to ask for £50 before they replace the basin....well, I could start a legal investigation into the whole thing because the evidence is still in my flat....that should get them moving, shouldn't it?

additionally, I now 'get' why the water still goes down that plughole but minimally....expansion and contraction of metal....you see, I have poured so many kettles of boiling water down it...that the plastic sides of the cup - stuck onto the metal....must have come away, a bit...to allow a 'leak' as it were....go figure.

oh and there's more and this is a bit of a double-edged sword...by telling me to use 'mr muscle extra strength' - lee had unwittingly enabled me to clear away the 'grime' and 'limescale' from that white plastic cup....to clearly see it for what it is...to then take photos....and yes, to keep on the safe side, I had used a mask and plastic gloves....along with keeping the window wide open and the bathroom door, shut - for the morning - in order to let the gas escape....go figure.
