oh I see....I 'get' it....this is all about 'blowing up bridges'....and as my father had said upon the phone, some time - ago, now...."it'll take decades"...if you think about how many ministerial offices have made contracts and from the 60s onwards....how many legal teams (and think about what they will charge to do it).... how many, it will take to break every contract etc etc...and well, a quick 'clean' break just isn't going to be possible, is it?....anyway, the metaphor of 'blowing up bridges' isn't a good one, is it?...makes it all sound like we're 'at war'....go figure.
