...and what else?...a curious incident, this morning...in QD of all places - see previous notes/posts upon scarlett's old haunting ground etc etc...I was to walk in, to buy toilet roll....walk past the service tills....pick up a pack of rolls and join the queue - a lady in a calf-length fake-fur animal print coat - with grey bobbed hair, wearing a lot of make-up was to say loudly "OH, I DIDN'T SEE YOU THERE!" she then showed me what she was buying....and told me that she hadn't noticed me because of the two sparkly red 'Christmas sellotapes', that she was holding ....anyway, when it came to my turn to walk to a till...that 'Tomlinson's hair' tardie bloke...was to shout from the end of the tills..."next please!" and so I began to walk over to where he was....to then watch him turn away from the tills and go over to a desk behind the tills and begin to open a large cardboard box...as if he weren't serving at all...and so I returned to the first till which was now free...and the assistant appeared to think that I was trying to push into the queue...I explained to him the above....he then realised his mistake....and laughed "maybe he didn't see you"...I replied "look, he's doing it again"...tardie bloke had returned to the tills and was shouting "next please" etc etc....and what else?...well, that didn't stop a couple of tardies in the queue bleating "push-in" as they walked past me....made me smile....what can you do with 'mental robots' - and at QD....anyway, had I become 'invisible' this morning?...ha ha ha....go figure.
