ah...I know what this is all about now...having had the footage back...footage that McGowan had stolen from that head of station's house....in short, the ill hadn't exactly broken in....the head of station knew McGowan....McGowan was to turn up on his doorstep with petrol nell...he was to introduce her to him as a 'local doctor'...the head of station turned around for a second, to lead them into his house....McGowan then hit him on the back of the head....later on the head of station was to wake up in his own bathtub....covered in shit....he was to check his cctv....it was missing...
