OTHER NOTES:

this morning, I had a quick cycle down the prom...to the golfcourse and back...to note that most of the groups of adults and children, were speaking polish... I couldn't be sure but having spent 2 years in Poland 1992-4...I'm pretty sure that polish was the Slavic language being spoken....which is an oddity...normally almost everybody is speaking English and so I wondered...is there a polish event, on today - in Clacton? I'd better check that timetable for the Clacton summer festival etc etc...
