...first up...the HALIFAX cashpoint (the one to the left) wasn't dispensing cash (station road)....I tried to withdraw £50 to then find out that nothing 'happened' i.e. no cash and no receipt...I then tried again...the 'same thing'...

...and so I then checked my bank account balance at the HSBC cashpoint...to see that the HALIFAX hadn't withdrawn either amount of £50....I kept the printed out receipt....as 'evidence'.

I then returned to the HALIFAX to ask for my 'bank balance' receipt...luckily neither amounts of £50 had been taken out of my account - and so I was to take that receipt, also - as 'evidence'....go figure.
