oh and 'another thing'...

remember the surname 'parry?

rimington used to call herself 'mrs parry' whilst looking after a british colonialist's  children (he was in india, at the time) - his surname was  'parry'.....

'parry - remember the surname, parry' I thought....having heard 'Hannah howson' tell me that CHP's 'electoral superviser' is 'dave parry'......as in 'electrical supervisor'.....and his email address is:

david.parry@chp.org.uk

.....whilst  rimington....stationed as a mkultra programmer at powergen, in Solihull, in the 70s ( rimington's real job had been as an MI5 Russian course lecturer' on the books)....had been told to act as 'nanny' to FO parry's two young girls, in Solihull - 70s (a 'nanny' go figure)....

....and well this morning...I having been told by Hannah howson, that the electrics supervisor was a man named 'parry'....david parry.....

I was to compose the following email although I doubt whether I will send it...needs editing:

Dear David Parry,

I would like to ask your advice about the following:

I used to have a battery-powered smoke alarm in my flat - and i used to change the battery, myself.

The smoke alarm was replaced by a CHP electrician and now, it is no longer simply run by battery - it is linked to the mains of belle court building.

Anyway, the battery in the new smoke alarm, in my flat - has rundown - and it began to flash a red light and bleep, every 30 seconds - late friday night 02/07.

I had a look at it and realised that the only way to change the battery - was to take the plug out of the back - and not being a professional - i was unable to do it myself - additionally, the previous CHP electrician hadn't left the appropriate instruction manual/leaflet for that particular model of smoke alarm, in order for me to do the job, myself.

I have included photo attachments of the smoke alarm and plug, within this email - in the hope that you might be able to tell me how to detach the plug from the back of that smoke alarm - in order to tell me how to do it myself, and then i will gladly do it - seeing as 'hannah howson' from CHP (04/07) was to tell me that if i were unable to do it and an electrican had to be called out - that i would then charged £15 for an 'unnecessary call-out'.

Additionally, the previous CHP electrician (who had replaced that battery smoke alarm - to replace it with a 'mains connected' one) had told me that i should not attempt to replace the battery, myself - or i might be electrocuted - and that was because the new replacement smoke alarm is connected to the mains of the building.

Anyway, I was to notify CHP about the above - on saturday 03/07 - CHP's out-of-hours service.

I was told that the emergency repairs electrician would not be able to call during the weekend (02-03/7) of because the 'job' was not a top priority one.

Whilst i understand that other more important jobs should take priority - I have had to put up with the above for three days now - and the constant beeping is not just annoying - it is something of a health hazard - you see, the last CHP electrician was to laugh, that people sometimes 'went round the bend' and then tried to cut the wires - to then electrocute themselves - after having to listen to that horrific 'bleeping sound' for too long. Naturally, i would never attempt anything so dangerous.

i am therefore relying upon you to either tell me how to deconnect the plug from the back of the smoke alarm, safely - despite the fact that i am not a professional electrician....and of course, i do not want to face the £15 charge for an 'unnecessary' callout of a CHP electrician.

however, you must realise my concern, that i do not want to electrocute myself whilst doing so - and I can safely assume that CHP would not want me to do so, either.

Therefore i would very much appreciate it - if you have a look at the enclosed photos - and email me back with your advice i.e. is there an easy way to disconnect the plug from the back of that smoke alarm?

If so - i would like to know 'how'. Please email me back with the details.

I have already tried, with my screwdriver - however, I do not want to cause damage to the property because that might add to the cost of an 'unnecessary callout'.

Please email me back with instructions upon how to take that plug out - if there is an 'easy way to do it' because i do not want to electrocute myself within the process.

additionally, if there isn't an 'easy way to do it' - i am assuming that i will not be charged £15 by CHP for the job.

I will also assume that i will not be left upon a 'low priority' list until 'whenever' because this type of 'abuse' might constitute harrassment.

The previous electrician was to tell me that he had known... "people go round the bend' having had to listen to that bleeping sound, all the time. I have had to put up with it for three days. It interferes with your sleep pattern - it interferes with just about everything.

in summary, please look at the photos - and tell me (by email - photos would help) how to pull out that plug and replace the battery - and confirm that CHP's regulations now state that tenants have to do that job themselves - otherwise they face a £15 penalty.

kind regards
