....and what's new this thursday morning, dazzlenation?...another 'new comment'....hmmm....how 'olde' do you want it?.....because i'm looking at a certain girls' magazine/comic that had been on a certain london train station newsstand....i had begged oscar to buy it....the magazine/comic had 'esmeralda' emblazoned across the front and a cartoon of a young 'witch' upon the front.....anyway, later on - rimington was to take it away...."you can't have that!" etc etc....and i was never to see that magazine/comic upon the newsstands again or at the local newsagents for that matter, wherever.....hmmm....the cover had been a bit like 'jackie' as in shiny....unlike the usual comics of the period, for younger girls...in short, almost a magazine...a bit more 'grown up'....anyway, roll on the years - i was to tell lisa about 'esmeralda' - at the prague DTO...and to my surprise - she was to reply that she had read every issue....later on 'susan sinclair' queried why i had been interested in asking about etc etc...lisa replied that she had no idea....it had only been fairytale stuff (whereas the comic/magazine called esmeralda, that i had received - was a bit more 'spooky', let us say - lol)....anyway, the CID had picked up on it all....along the lines of early NSA training - regarding lisa's version of esmeralda etc etc.....something along those lines....anyway the issue below isn't at all like the one that i had etc etc....early 70s....hmmm....a bit more 'manga' in style?.....go figure:
