and yes, we're still on that 'oval' theme....something that obama had encouraged me to work out, let us say - after one of emet's workshops, so many years ago...he had asked me to review my ideas...ending up with me making a primitive sort of spirograph and then 'getting' it...along the lines of all 'i need is a piece of string' and then i can etc etc...lol...oh and for those who didn't get it...you have sarah ferguson's idea as the 'answer' in that penguin book of puzzles (chp 3 geometrical puzzles no. 54)...roll your paper around a bottle...more laughter....see previous post:
oh and i might add that there was another question in the same chapter - no.55 to be precise - that bobby's mob had decided to cheat on....along the lines of "we'll remember the swastika" etc etc...having looked at the answers in the back of the book...in the eventuality - they didn't manage to remember....lol....oh and more to the point...i had found another way to do it, without cheating....more than one solution possible etc etc.....as it goes, eh?
