.....and what had you wanted to dig up, this friday evening, dazzlenation?...ah, 'vampires'....plus a rather scary episode that toddy and i, had endured....during a sort of 'taschmann attack' from a gang of men, who had turned up, armed - in the back of 2 st austell road garden....anyway, oscar came home - to find one of them 'in tears' - outside of the french windows....he greeted him as "alan"...a young doctor, apparently....anyway, one of alan's friends had tried to shoot toddy and managed to get shot himself, in the process (more than one of them, actually)....hmmm...pat andrew had coded in toddy's gun as a 'golden gun' - meaning?....toddy had acquired an MI6 gun, along the way..."it's one of theirs, honey"....something around who's zoomin' who....obama style....including who's invisible to who....etc etc....anyway, having remembered alan stuttering that it was just a 'game' and that they had entered the back garden from a wooded area upon eliot park.....my sixth sense was then drawn to a certain location nearby...one that toddy had told me to make a note of.....samuel smiles, anybody?
As editor of the Leeds Times, he advocated radical causes ranging from women's suffrage to free trade and parliamentary reform. By the late 1840s, however, Smiles became concerned about the advocation of physical force by Chartists Feargus O'Connor and George Julian Harney, although he seems to have agreed with them that the movement's current tactics were not effective, saying that "mere political reform will not cure the manifold evils which now afflict society"
Smiles is also the great-great-grandfather of Bear Grylls, a well-known adventurer.
