....and what's new this wednesday morning, dazzlenation?...well, if you watch 'loving highsmith' - particularly the ending....and then watch the beginning of 'immaculate conception' upon the BFI site...then you might 'get' what this is all about....BI were to laugh about the house-that-pat-built in switzerland, as not being that much different from the well-to-do-houses-shot-in-pakistan.....lol....dabydeen 'n' his colleague were behind the original pitch, let us say....and so somewhat 'layered' - regarding dabydeen's allegiance to the mossad and protecting 'their own'...a film that raises more questions than it gives answers....a rather un-PC movie, in relation to its context and brave because of it.......and that is because upon the face of it - the movie sets up a young barbara streisand type against 'trans', let us say....and so no doubt a certain quarter, gave this movie really bad reviews and yet upon the other hand etc etc....more laughter....go figure:
