...oh and whalley had also wanted a reminder of the following...on the timer system....something around violet clayton asking her husband about angel's trumpets...but had she been talking about a plant or something 'religious'....lol....the conversation had been held, during that 'pestle and mortar' event - dazzlenation....and so let me see...not native to the UK....however - if you happen see it, don't touch it etc etc....see previous post....go figure:
and we're still on violet clayton, here - dazzlenation...because she used to have a hen....and as a small child, she had taught me to check the hedgerows for eggs, in the morning....because grandpa liked a fresh egg for breakfast....anyway, she had described the hen as being like sylvia..."because it's always pecking (for food)"....hmmm....sylvia wouldn't eat meat as a child...used to chew it and then leave it upon the side of her plate...only liked sweet things and would run off laughing - having stolen the tarts/cakes whatnot from grandma's kitchen "i could never catch her!"...remember toddy talking about how children who are given meat too young - often end up vegetarian etc etc....anyway, i don't know how far you want to take this metaphor but anyway, the hen was then killed by a local predator...probably a fox or a cat, i suppose...grandma was to find it dead on the path....go figure:
