anyway, yes - i am now beginning to 'get' why lisa had told toby macklin to set the white balance to....'no golden sunlight'....in relation to the production of that dismal 'wild switzerland' series on netflix....only the menacing and flattening 'white light' allowed, outdoors....so much so that you have little or no contrast, in terms of shadows.....on the other hand - whilst indoors - without a proper white balance....people can look a bit 'jaundiced' let us say.....see above....anyway, what's on the board behind nick holonyak?....let me see...well, whatever it was....began in 1960....go figure:
