...and what else?...a king Edward's school, in bath....hmmm...I know what this is all about, now...king Edward's school for girls, in Edgbaston, b'ham....see previous notes upon ingabot and her special schools....let me backtrack to that point in time and add a bit more information...pippa Morton had begun at Langley junior school in Solihull...in 4M (4U and 4M were pretty much the same, in terms of reading/writing/ maths/IQ test ability) class...however, as those like jan Thomas had said "she's really thick...she should have been in a lower class"....poor old pippa...she certainly wasn't the brightest spark upon the bonfire....and that was to be pretty much the case, throughout her schooling...continuing on through senior school...anyway, my intent in going over 'all of that' again...is to make a point about what my father had been planning....he had hoped that he would be able to make me go to that Edgbaston school...whereupon I would be used...in much the same way, as I was then to be used by the 'idiot children' attending Langley seniors....in fact, he was to apologise to Inga, about it ....because she had been hoping to capitalise upon my being at that 'special' school for..."under-achievers" replies MI5 ONLINE...well, for her 'special-in-the-head' ingabot, specifically...the 'I don't like Mondays' brigade - who were then recruited into MI6/buller's mob etc etc...and so it had all gone a bit pear-shaped for Inga, at that point in time...and she would probably have had a bone to pick with the 'idiot children' at Langley seniors?....something along those lines...not that all of the children were 'special in the head', not by a long chalk...."just some of them - most of them at king Edward's"....as it goes, eh? oh and one more point....pippa's mother was to complain to my father that she had tried to get pippa into king Edward's but apparently they were full....go figure.
oh and one more point...to add to the confusion of 'streaming' at Langley juniors....Jayne butler had hardly been able to read and write...we had all assumed that she could do, simply because she was in 4U (even by those within that class)...but I suppose...like RH, ingabot and ed gyde...she had been put beside somebody that she could copy off....Judith Sheridan, for example....who had been her best friend....you see, I can remember our first English language lessons, at Langley seniors...where miss price used to ask us to read-in-turn from the chosen novel, for the week....and when it came to Jayne's turn...well, you can guess what used to happen...in short, she could hardly read at all...I can remember deb putting her head down, upon the desk and sniggering...not because she looked down on her or was trying to 'bitch'...it was because Jayne had tried to bully her into being her best friend...jayne had simply marched up, before the first lesson and ordered her to sit by her...to then threaten her in a rather sinister way, if deb did not do what she was told etc etc...and Jayne was 'like that' most of the time...a very nasty little bully but so unpopular that luckily, she never became the leader-of-a-gang...although she must have done something really bad...to 'earn it by being evil'...see previous notes upon rimington in the adjacent admin block etc etc...go figure.
