...and what else?..well, having read a bit of WE'LL ALWAYS HAVE PARIS by emma beddington, last night....i was to remember brenda spotting 'something' upon the networks....two frequencies had crossed (the ones exposed yesterday - including man-at-a-window-in the back of travelodge)....and the setting?...appeared to be a french park...in which a young mother and her infant-in-a-pushchair were trying to escape the clutches of what appeared to be an elderly lady but was in fact a man-in-drag/paedophile...who had been harrassing her 'parisian-style' as in 'the game' by criticising her for not being a good enough mother etc etc...which coincides with a chapter in the book around the topic...chapter 7 LA CUREE....anyway, the woman then called somebody within 'intelligence' on her mobile - who got in touch with the local police at a 'higher level' let us say...a higher level, than the policeman who then came to deal with that situation, in the park....because at first he had looked as if he were going to take the side of the 'elderly lady' but after the mother had made her call and after he had taken a call from his radio/mobile....he was to then arrest the 'elderly lady'...and it took some doing, didn't it?..."a chase across the park" replies BI ONLINE "he had to stun her, in the end"...to then handcuff her....go figure.
