....and what else?...another 'dartington character'...i.e. john hall along with his son-at-the-same-school-as-gavin and his wife with 'French connections' let us say....

...."on parole" and the french....relating to a 'saussure' joke....and that is all i am going to say about that one....apart from to link it to john hall (ex-cultural studies lecturer at dartington) and his experience...with the French, in france...who had laughed about him being 'on parole' from having to live in England (because john hall and his family, had pretty much moved to france...lock-stock-and-barrel, by that point in time).....as well as a future event....something around the UK becoming 'prison island' - did i get that right?...as it goes...ha ha ha...go figure:
