hmmm...this all reminds me of the time, that the warwick international politics lecturer had asked my course to make up their own politics essay titles....and after i had submitted mine...he was to tell me that i would find absolutely zero, upon that particular topic....because apparently those two departments didn't communicate at all....at a governmental level...and so i would find nothing in terms of governmental reports etc etc to substantiate my arguments....and i didn't either, i might add....and which two departments had they been, in 1997?....well, my initial query had been about the possible relationship between UK foreign policy and defency policy....to then be told that there wasn't one...they don't talk to each other etc etc...which i was to find quite incredible, at the time....go figure.
