well, isn't that interesting?....maybe 'pencilgate' did pay off, in the end....and you know...another 'coalition' might be a good idea....get everybody in on the decision-making etc etc...
I might have mentioned this already upon my blog but I'll say it again....I had been a teenager, when my father was to tell me that only pencils were used in polling stations....there was one around the corner, on or near kineton green road....I was to reply 'in all innocence' that wasn't it wonderful...that the british public trusted their local/central government to the extent where they would put their vote 'in pencil'....my father was to laugh, somewhat bitterly and inform me that this was definitely not a good idea....he appeared to 'know' something....the next thing, I can remember - is watching rimington seated in that polling station....rapidly changing votes....see previous notes upon eliza manningham-buller and her "we are the guardians of society" number....deciding for those who are too 'witless' to make the right choices....
...those like myself, apparently...at the brexit referendum....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....which was what was to get me fired up, in the first place....if we are going to have a democracy in this country...then 'pencilgate' has to end - doesn't it?
