....guess what happened at belle court, this earlier on this evening - then? i was having my bath, at the time and so didn't bother to answer the doorbell which was just as well...considering quite a few things....as follows...

first up - a fire-engine was to park on the drive - just before the collector station...the fire-brigade was to call at belle court building....at around 7pm-7.30pm....and as far as i know...that is 'whoever' had rung my flat doorbell....twice, i might add...and then knocked....

see previous notes upon 'all of that' in relation to the postman...you see they never ring flat 1's doorbell (or flat 3 or flat 4's doorbell)...they immediately target mine...which was the case, this evening....not that i knew who it was and i didn't care, either...anyway, whoever it was - after ringing twice, knocking and waiting....then decided that they'd better 'do that' to another flat...and so they then did..."a bit suspicious" replies MI5 ONLINE...that's what i thought...anyway, i then heard a neighbour have a word with whoever it was....and eventually the man left....

...i got dressed, had a look at the frontdoor...somebody had pushed a flyer through it....all about 'high rise accommodation'....in pictures....see below.

what else? well, i had a look out of my flat windows...to see that fire engine parked on the drive...

....and what was odd...was that my neighbours in flat 3 - hadn't been asked to move their car, by the fire brigade.....now why would that be?....and that was when it began to start looking a bit 'mickey mouse' to me....

....you see there are 'wheel clamping notices' all around belle court building and they obviously should not have been parked there....because their car was blocking access to the rear end of belle court/jackson house as well as travelodge....not that the fire brigade cared...nor did they worry about those two supermarket trolleys left by the collector station...also blocking access to the back of this complex, i might add....

just how 'mickey mouse' was the whole thing, then - eh?...if it were a bona fide fire brigade operation....then they should at least have got my neighbours to move their car...and moved those supermarket trolleys, themselves....neither of which, they did....go figure.

i should have taken a photo of that fire-engine, come to think of it...next time, then eh?....what else? well, i suppose that if it were a bona fide fire brigade operation....then at least they will have noted the 'problems with access' down this drive....although, seeing as it was the early evening...all of those cars which tend to block access down the drive, during working hours...had already gone....and so the fire engine was able to drive up to the collector station....as it goes, eh?

...and the upshot of it all? well, read the flyer...all about the 'stay put' policy....the dumbing down of british culture, eh?....as donna was to tell me recently...if there were a serious fire in this building...she'd be the first one out of the frontdoor...whether or not it was in her own flat....go figure.
