this morning I had to find the number 888 somewhere in Clacton...not a problem but I didn't bother photographing it 'in situ' (on a new 'remembrance bench' in the sensory garden (somebody had died at 27 years old - born 8.88)...oh and I was also to go to M&S....to be told that I had to pay 1985....I joked back...at least it's not 1984....
and having got home...I was to remember McDonald as Texan 'art director' of that armadillo pic...and 'the eye of the crocodile has opened'...a 'joke' around my chosen biscuit design...see previous notes...
McDonald had remembered being made to stand on that drain in front of the former LLOYDS bank building upon rosemary road west...in ftont of the 'black horse' sign...and told that this bank would stay there forever...timeless, eternal etc etc...how funny...anyway, McDonald had wanted to remember something around that drain, a swiss passport design and a swiss bank...and the number he had asked me to remember...was 1836....
